Close Up Catching Up

An update is in order and way over due. Thanks for those who dropped by to say hello on the blog and to give me a little kick! I’m back in L.A now and am slowly getting into the rythm of every day life. Getting back in touch with old friends and driving around and re-visiting some of my old haunts. I’ve moved into an old 1920’s building around Koreatown and am in love with all the safari-esque elements in the apartment. Don’t you love my wolf kachina? I picked him up at a furniture store in Sante Fe that also dried their own chili peppers. I thought he was too handsome not to take with.
It feels really good to be back. L.A was unusually chilly for the past week, so I’m looking forward to having it be obnoxiously sunny and warm soon. I lived in downtown a few years back when I used to live in L.A so it’s really nice being in a different part of town. I also never knew all the cool hidden cafe’s in Koreatown. I’ll drag my computer with me to work and pretend that I’m still in school like the rest of the korean kids. A few of my favorites are Loft and Cafe Sanjang.
Also update on my current skin care favorites: I’m loving Kiehl’s Alcohol-free Cucumber Toner and their 24 Ultra Facial Cream. I’ve got really dry skin and the facial cream is super light but surprisingly long lasting. I’ve also been trying SKII’s Facial Treatment Essence and it’s seriously amazing.
Hope you all are well. I’ve been so bad with the blog but thank you to all those who have stuck with me. I’ve been busy working on a few things, that I can’t wait to show and share with you all :)
